It is my honour and privilege to welcome you to the official website of the Department of Business Administration, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
Since the establishment of our department, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to academic excellence, character development, and the production of graduates who are not only intellectually sound but also morally upright and equipped to lead in an increasingly complex and dynamic business environment. As one of the strategic departments in the Faculty of Administration, we have built a rich legacy of scholarship, leadership, and service to humanity. Our greatest asset is our people; we are blessed with a team of highly qualified academic staff who are passionate mentors committed to nurturing the next generation of business leaders, supported by administrative and technical staff who ensure a conducive learning and working environment.
Our department offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes designed to equip students with the theoretical foundations and practical skills required for successful careers in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, consulting, and academia. Our advanced academic offerings include the Business Administration (B.Sc.), Post Graduate Diploma in Management Science (PGDMS), Master in Business Administration (MBA-Regular), Executive Master in Business Administration (EXMBA), Master of Science (M.Sc.), Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.), Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Administration.
